Курс призначений для студентів УМ-5 групи, які навчаються за освітньо-професійною програмою Середня освіта (Українська мова і література. Англійська мова) підготовки здобувачів вищої освіти на другому (магістерському) рівні за спеціальністю 014 Середня освіта (Українська мова і література) галузі знань 01 Освіта / Педагогіка.

Метою вивчення навчальної дисципліни є формування у студентів майбутніх-учителів англійської мови професійно-орієнтованої комунікативної компетентності на рівні В2, достатньому для забезпечення нормативного, стилістично адекватного спілкування у особистісній, публічній, професійній та освітній сферах в загальнокультурних, академічних і професійних комунікативних ситуаціях в межах тем Higher education in the English-speaking countries and Ukraine.
